About us… Why Ryoan ?
Sea, islands and mountains, sky and clouds, shadows and light… These 15 rocks resting on white sand sum up the world. The Japanese garden of the Ryoan-Ji temple has fascinated visitors for centuries. Because no matter where you stand, you will never be able to see all 15 rocks at once. What is the moral of this? That there is more than one truth. And that to gain access to another person’s truth, one must change one’s point of view.
This garden is an invitation to listen to the world, to think freely and to defend one’s ideas with conviction. A source of inspiration that guides us on a daily level as we imagine characters, tell stories and work with our partners.
Founded by Thomas VIGUIER, RYOAN produces series and films for television and cinema and invites you to come and nurture stories in our garden.
